The brief
Job seekers jump between job boards and company career pages, and listings go stale fast. The goal was one place that keeps itself up to date: an app that automatically collects new jobs every day, lets candidates narrow tens of thousands of listings down in seconds, and gives employers their own route to post and hire.

What I did
Automation & data
- Built an automated pipeline that fetches new listings from public job boards and company career pages every day, with no manual work.
- Normalized every listing into one format (title, company, location, workplace type, salary, posting date) so they can be searched and filtered together.
Product design
- Designed the search-first homepage, results layout and job detail view.
- Planned separate journeys for candidates and employers.
Development
- Built the app in Next.js with keyword, location and category search, and filters for workplace, experience, salary and date posted.
- Added candidate accounts to save, track and apply, an AI tools section, and an employer flow where posted jobs are reviewed by a moderator before going live.
Key decisions
- 01
Let the data update itself
Instead of a hand-entered list that goes out of date, a scheduled job fetches new listings every day. The homepage shows roles posted within the last hour, so the product feels alive every time someone opens it.
- 02
Results and details side by side
On desktop the list and the selected job sit next to each other, so candidates can compare jobs without losing their place.

- 03
Two audiences, two journeys
Candidates search, save and apply. Employers post a role, a moderator approves it, and applications arrive in their dashboard. Separating the two keeps both simple.
